CLAAS FARMPOINT goes to Germany!
A group of farmers and CLAAS FARMPOINT™ team members traded their LEXION for lederhosen last month!
On a recent trip to CLAAS Headquarters in Germany, our customers and team members got a firsthand look at cutting-edge CLAAS machinery, advanced farming technology and the future of sustainable agriculture, all while immersing themselves in CLAAS culture where the legacy began.
“The trip was a truly memorable experience! It was exciting to see where CLAAS started and how it’s evolved around the world,” said Cameron Knobloch, longtime CLAAS customer and Iowa farmer.
On this weeklong journey, the group did some sightseeing and enjoyed various activities, like museum and castle tours, but they also took part in a combine focus group where CLAAS engineers asked them what was important to them as farmers in a combine.
“It was nice to have someone who actually makes and designs these machines ask me, a farmer from Iowa, what was important to me,” Brian Eisma, a 13-year CLAAS customer and Iowa farmer.
Since its inception in 1913, CLAAS has always taken the opinion of its customers seriously.
“There’s no use having a machine in our fleet that our customers don’t like,” said CLAAS FARMPOINT Customer Account Manager Ryan Harms. “It’s been great to see how CLAAS engineers utilize the feedback they get from farmers and customers. They’re the reason we do what we do!”
The group discussed combines and other CLAAS machinery and equipment, features and the future of farming in general.
“It was a great experience. I can’t thank CLAAS FARMPOINT enough for this incredible opportunity,” said Nikki Eisma, longtime CLAAS customer and Iowa farmer.
