Luke Jacobs, Parts Coordinator for the Indiana and Kentucky area, is one of them and knows what it means to keep things running. 

Behind the counter 

A parts coordinator juggles inventory, orders and logistics while talking to the customer on the other end of the phone. It’s work that rewards experience, and Luke has spent his whole career in it. 

“I’ve spent my whole career in parts ever since, and as the parts coordinator for CLAAS FARMPOINT since 2013” he said.  

Working out of the Bunker Hill location, where the job runs on paperwork, customer calls and planning ahead. His favorite thing about the work? Getting to know the customers. 

As for what sets chooses CLAAS FARMPOINT apart from his previous positions, he points to the willingness to try new things. 

“We try to think outside the box and experiment with different things,” Luke said. “It’s different, new and exciting.”
